I'm loooong over due a post. Here's the opening to a short film I was developing a while back. The working title was 'The Very Odd Couple' - it's a celebration of those lonely souls who nobody wants to dance with - like me at every school disco I ever went to. An exploding spaceship!

I'm a bit obsessed with pure geometric dynamics in cinema. This animatic is just two shots. Initially I started drawing them to set up a crazy action scene in space I want to board, but then I got sucked into animating the panels. Sometimes I can't resist trying to capture that all-important thing called movement. It's what the 'movies' are all about after all.
