May I present some beat-boards for a book project I'm doing.
As part of developing the story I've deliberately applied some techniques I'm developing for engaging the audience's (or reader's) emotions.
The techniques are based on discoveries being made about emotions in the brain.
In this sequence I'm attempting to arouse what neuroscientists call the SEEKING emotion which could be defined as the excitement we feel when we are anticipating something, the thrill we feel when we are about to discover something out there in the great unknown...
