Been trying to find a design for an alien. Spent a few months doodling in sketch books. Here's a small sample of the 10 phrillion sketches that finally led me to a character called Skoo.










And here's a sketch of Skoo with his new-found friend.

An exploding spaceship!

I'm a bit obsessed with pure geometric dynamics in cinema. This animatic is just two shots. Initially I started drawing them to set up a crazy action scene in space I want to board, but then I got sucked into animating the panels. Sometimes I can't resist trying to capture that all-important thing called movement. It's what the 'movies' are all about after all.
